Spain is a wonderful Country to visit but Granada is truly a unique experience. From the tradition of free tapas with your beer to a young and vibrant student population and seemingly daily celebrations in the street there is something for everyone. Travelers can relax on cafe lined plazas then make their way into the Albaicin where a strong Arabic influence permeates the art, architecture and food.

Of course Barcelona and Madrid are on everyone’s itinerary but Granada in Andalusia seems to mistakenly be skipped over by many visitors to Europe. Take some time and deviate from the beaten path. Tour the city where the Moors made one last stand in their fight against Christianity and the likes of Christopher Columbus asked for permission to set sail.
